Servomex is part of the global effort to increase ventilator production, our Hummingbird oxygen sensors are an integral part of the manufacture of these life saving machines.

Due to the current increase in demand for our product, we have multiple opportunities for Assembly Technicians to join Servomex, the world leader in gas analysis. These Temporary roles sit within our UKTC Operations Team, with responsibility for the build and test of parts for use in Servomex gas analysis products.

Job description:

About the role:

• Assemble and test Servomex products to Standard Operating Procedures and a high standard of quality.
• Process relevant paperwork as required
• Consume and control material within company procedures and protocols
• Fully comply with Servomex Group Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Contribute to improvement activities to improve quality, delivery and cost.

About You:
Essential Skills, Experience and Education:

• Ability to assemble small components by hand and/or with hand tools
• Ability to interpret, understand and work from drawings
• Knowledge of light-mechanical micro assembly and testing
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ability to record and document the throughput of work in accordance with company procedure
• GCSEs in Science, Maths and English.

Desirable Qualities:

• Experience with clean-room manufacturing and/or laboratory based environments.
• Experience with laser use and laser hazard awareness.
• Experience with microscope use advantageous
• Experience with gas analysis technologies.
• Basic computer skills
