The China Servomex team recently won a project to supply oxygen analysers to a substantial LNG project

The UK and China teams collaborated on the specification, leading to a winning solution where the anlaysers will be used on a gas field in the Atlantic, with direct digital communications to its UK control centre.

The project requires accurate core measurements and will be used as part of the critical safety system, so SIL2 was also key. Offshore/onshore communications to monitor and check the analyser performance was also essential to ensure the analysts had the information required to enable fault-finding, validation and monitoring without the time and expense of travel to the platform.

In addition to the technology we were able to provide, customer support and training by the China team was vital to ensure the customer team could use the solution to its full capabilities.
