Our gas analyzers provide accurate and reliable non-methane hydrocarbon (NMHC) measurements in your process, using the sensing technologies that best suit your application. Combining innovative Plasma Emission Detector technology with Gas Chromatography, our NHMC analyzers monitor trace-level NHMC as impurities in industrial, medical, and ultra-high-purity gases. We also provide a non-methane hydrocarbons solution using heated Flame Ionization Detector (FID) sensing for industrial or vehicle emission applications.
Non-methane hydrocarbons are often found as contaminants in industrial, medical, and semiconductor gas processes. To ensure gas purity, they must be measured at very low, trace or ultra-trace levels. In addition, NMHCs are significant atmospheric pollutants, and so must be monitored in industrial emissions for regulatory and safety purposes.
Several sensing technologies are available to measure non-methane hydrocarbons. The most appropriate solution depends on the application, and the measurement range required.
Our key NHMC gas analyzer products for hydrocarbon mixture analysis can be divided into two types: those using Plasma and Gas Chromatography sensing to measure NHMCs, and our FID sensing solution. The SERVOPRO Chroma is a versatile, ultra-accurate trace gas analyzer optimized to specific background gases for optimum performance. The SERVOPRO NanoChrome and NanoChrome ULTRA incorporate the latest advances in gas sensing and signal processing methodology, for superior performance in ultra-trace purity measurements. The SERVOPRO HFID uses sensitive and accurate Flame Ionization Detector sensing technology to measure THC to ultra-trace levels in industrial or vehicle emission applications.
Servomex gas analyzers offer non-methane hydrocarbons solutions for a range of safety, quality control, process control, and emissions monitoring applications. Our SERVOPRO HFID uses sensitive and accurate Flame Ionization Detector sensing technology to measure NMHC to parts-per-million levels. For even lower-level measurements, such as those required in semiconductor gas applications, our SERVOPRO Chroma, NanoChrome, and NanoChrome ULTRA gas analyzers use Plasma Emission Detector technology combined with Gas Chromatography to measure at parts-per-billion and parts-per-trillion levels.
The Chroma is optimized to specific background gases to ensure optimum performance for your application.
Incorporating the latest advances in gas sensing and signal processing methodology, the NanoChrome revolutionizes ultra-trace purity measurements.
Using proven ultra-trace sensing, the NanoChrome ULTRA conquers the most stringent demands of the semiconductor industry, delivering a cost-effective solution compared to competing technologies.
Our non-methane hydrocarbons analyzer range uses proven sensing solutions that deliver accuracy, ease of use, and a long operational life.
Flammable hydrocarbon samples can be measured at very low levels with our Flame Ionization Detector (FID) sensors. Based around the detection of ions formed by combustion, they are key to the sensitive, accurate measurements delivered by our SERVOPRO Chroma, FID, and HFID analyzers.
