If you need to measure carbon monoxide (CO) for process control or safety applications, we have the gas analysis solutions required. Servomex delivers expert solutions for carbon monoxide measurements, using a range of sensing technologies for the best fit to your process. Our CO gas analyzer range utilizes technologies including Infrared, Plasma, and Gas Chromatography for low-level impurity detection, and Tunable Diode Laser or Spectroscopic sensing for combustion safety and process control. Servomex CO analyzers are available for both safe area and hazardous area operation.
Carbon monoxide measurements are needed for a wide range of different applications including combustion control, emissions monitoring, and gas purity. CO is frequently generated as a by-product when incomplete combustion of fuels takes place due to insufficient oxygen. It is also used in the manufacture of several chemical products. Carbon monoxide can be a health hazard, so is monitored for plant safety, and also in emissions monitoring under environmental regulations.
Several sensing technologies are available to measure carbon monoxide. The most appropriate solution depends on the application, and the measurement range required.
Since CO is measured in a wide variety of applications, at various ranges and under diverse process conditions, Servomex has developed a number of solutions to ensure the best-fit CO gas analyzer in each application. For example, the SERVOPRO 4900 Multigas uses Infrared sensing to measure CO for continuous emissions monitoring, while the SERVOTOUGH Laser 3 Plus Combustion Tunable Diode Laser analyzer measures CO for combustion efficiency and safety, and the SERVOPRO NanoChrome ULTRA utilizes Plasma sensing combined with Gas Chromatography to deliver parts-per-billion or parts-per-trillion level measurements of CO as an impurity in semiconductor manufacturing.
Servomex’s carbon monoxide gas analyzer range offers products suitable for safe area and hazardous area operations, and also includes a portable CO analyzer.
The SERVOTOUGH hazardous area CO gas analyzers include the Laser 3 Plus Combustion analyzer, which measures ppm CO for combustion control, the SpectraExact 2500 for % or ppm process measurements, and the SpectraScan 2400 optical gas analyzer for % or cv measurements.
Safe area SERVOPRO analyzers include the Infrared sensing of the versatile MultiExact 4100 and MultiExact 4200, and the CEMS analysis of the 4900 Multigas, with trace and ultra-trace measurements provided by the SERVOPRO Chroma, NanoChrome, and NanoChrome ULTRA
For rugged, heavy-duty portable analysis, the SERVOFLEX MiniHD 5200 delivers percent-level CO measurements using Infrared sensing.
The 4900 Multigas is a high-performance CEMS analyzer designed for a wide range of multi-gas measurements.
The Chroma is optimized to specific background gases to ensure optimum performance for your application.
Unmatched installation flexibility plus cost and performance benefits, ready for fast, accurate and responsive measurements in combustion and process control.
The MiniHD 5200 portable gas analyzer is a rugged, heavy duty analyzer designed to accurately measure the levels of O2, CO and CO2 within common gas mixtures.
A high-performance multi-gas analyzer designed to provide up to four simultaneous gas stream measurements.
The MultiExact 4200 analyzes up to four gases simultaneously for Syngas and HyCO
Incorporating the latest advances in gas sensing and signal processing methodology, the NanoChrome revolutionizes ultra-trace purity measurements.
Using proven ultra-trace sensing, the NanoChrome ULTRA conquers the most stringent demands of the semiconductor industry, delivering a cost-effective solution compared to competing technologies.
A getter-based purification unit designed for the purification of carrier gases used in Gas Chromatography (GC) and other analytical applications
Flexible single and multicomponent gas analysis capability for corrosive, toxic and flammable sample streams.
Our carbon monoxide analyzer range uses proven sensing solutions that deliver accuracy, ease of use, and a long operational life.
Gas Chromatography is an analysis technique that works effectively alongside other sensing technologies, delivering a highly sensitive measurement of the constituent components of a gas sample. It is used in our SERVOPRO Chroma, NanoChrome, and NanoChrome ULTRA analyzers.
Infrared sensing is a flexible measurement technology based on the unique light-absorbing properties of some gases. It delivers a non-contact, real-time detection of the selected gas’s concentration in a mixture, and is widely used in our analyzer range, including portable analyzers, photometric products, and multi-gas analyzers.
Developed to provide a safer alternative to flame-based sensing for hydrocarbon analysis, Servomex’s Plasma emission detection technology delivers ultra-low gas measurements. It is used in our SERVOPRO Plasma, Chroma, NanoChrome, and NanoChrome ULTRA analyzers.
Servomex’s Spectroscopic sensing technology is a revolutionary measurement for light hydrocarbons C1-C5+, where innovative NIR/IR absorption spectroscopy with state-of-the-art spectral scanning is coupled with advanced chemometric-based data processing. It is used in our innovative SERVOTOUGH SpectraScan 2400 analyzer.
Tunable Diode Laser (TDL) technology offers a fast-response, accurate measurement that is highly specific to the gas of interest. This non-contact, non-depleting sensing is used in our innovative, compact SERVOTOUGH Laser 3 Plus range of analyzers.
