Our range of carbon dioxide analyzers delivers the reliable and accurate measurements your process needs, using a choice of sensing technologies such as including Infrared, Plasma, and Gas Chromatography. Our products include CO₂ combustion analyzers and CO₂ purity analyzers, and are available as hazardous area, safe area, and portable instruments.
A common byproduct of combustion, carbon dioxide is a colorless gas which absorbs infrared radiation, acting as a greenhouse gas. It is closely regulated around the world as a harmful emission from many power generation and industrial manufacturing processes, and so must be monitored using CO₂ gas analyzers. It is also a versatile industrial material, used in inerting operations and as a feedstock for the synthesis of fuels and chemicals. A CO₂ gas analyzer may also be needed to monitor carbon dioxide as a trace impurity in industrial, medical, or semiconductor gases.
A number of sensing technologies are available for our carbon dioxide gas analyzers. The most appropriate solution depends on the application, and the measurement range required.
Measuring CO₂ emissions is a key part of any industry’s clean air strategy. The SERVOPRO 4900 Multigas CEMS analyzer provides continuous monitoring at ppm or percentage levels. For carbon capture processes, the versatile SERVOPRO MultiExact 4100 or MultiExact 4200 multi-gas analyzers are recommended.
Industrial process control measurements can be made by the SERVOTOUGH SpectraExact 2500 – for example in the manufacture of ethylene or ethylene dichloride. Because it is present in atmospheric air, CO₂ is a common contaminant in ultra-high purity gases. The trace and ultra-trace measurement capabilities of the SERVOPRO Chroma, NanoChrome, and NanoChrome ULTRA make these CO₂ gas analyzers ideal for this application.
Servomex has a variety of carbon dioxide gas analyzer solutions available to suit different applications. For hazardous area processes, the SERVOTOUGH range includes the SERVOTOUGH SpectraExact 2500 photometric analyzer, which measures CO₂ using Infrared and Spectroscopic sensing respectively. Infrared sensors also power our portable SERVOFLEX CO₂ analyzers, the MiniMP 5200, and MiniHD 5200. Our safe area CO₂ analyzers are in the SERVOPRO product range, and include the Infrared-sensing 4900 Multigas, MultiExact 4100 , and MultiExact 4200 multi, along with the Chroma, NanoChrome, and NanoChrome ULTRA, which all use Plasma sensing combined with Gas Chromatography.
The 4900 Multigas is a high-performance CEMS analyzer designed for a wide range of multi-gas measurements.
The Chroma is optimized to specific background gases to ensure optimum performance for your application.
The MiniHD 5200 portable gas analyzer is a rugged, heavy duty analyzer designed to accurately measure the levels of O2, CO and CO2 within common gas mixtures.
A portable, safe area, mains or battery-powered gas analyzer offering accurate single or dual % level measurements of oxygen (O2) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
A high-performance multi-gas analyzer designed to provide up to four simultaneous gas stream measurements.
The MultiExact 4200 analyzes up to four gases simultaneously for Syngas and HyCO
Incorporating the latest advances in gas sensing and signal processing methodology, the NanoChrome revolutionizes ultra-trace purity measurements.
Using proven ultra-trace sensing, the NanoChrome ULTRA conquers the most stringent demands of the semiconductor industry, delivering a cost-effective solution compared to competing technologies.
A getter-based purification unit designed for the purification of carrier gases used in Gas Chromatography (GC) and other analytical applications
Flexible single and multicomponent gas analysis capability for corrosive, toxic and flammable sample streams.
Our carbon dioxide analyzer range uses proven sensing solutions that deliver accuracy, ease of use, and a long operational life.
Gas Chromatography is an analysis technique that works effectively alongside other sensing technologies, delivering a highly sensitive measurement of the constituent components of a gas sample. It is used in our SERVOPRO Chroma, NanoChrome, and NanoChrome ULTRA analyzers.
Learn more about Gas Chromatography technologyInfrared sensing is a flexible measurement technology based on the unique light-absorbing properties of some gases. It delivers a non-contact, real-time detection of the selected gas’s concentration in a mixture, and is widely used in our analyzer range, including portable analyzers, photometric products, and multi-gas analyzers.
